What we make
Q Fabrication Labs prints functional parts on FDM machines. If your part fits our build volume of 325 × 320 × 325 mm (X × Y × Z) and comes as an STL or STEP file, there's a good chance we can print it. Here's the kind of work FDM is well suited to.
Brackets and mounts
Brackets, adapters, and holders that position or attach one thing to another — like the under-desk laptop mount we print in PETG. Upload your model, pick a material, and get a price.
Fixtures and jigs
Fixtures and jigs for the shop or bench — drill guides, alignment tools, assembly aids, gluing and soldering helpers. One-offs and small sets. PETG or ASA stand up to repeated handling better than PLA.
Enclosures and housings
Enclosures and housings for electronics and small assemblies — boxes with mating lids, panel cutouts, cable pass-throughs. PETG for general use; ASA if it lives somewhere hot.
Replacement parts
Replacement parts for things you can't buy anymore — knobs, clips, spacers, trays, handles. If you have a model, upload it. If you have the broken part but no model, contact us and we'll tell you whether we can help.
Prototypes and fit checks
Early versions to hold, test, and iterate before you commit to a final design or a costlier process. PLA prints the finest detail for form-and-fit work; PETG or ASA when the prototype has to survive real conditions.
Is FDM right for your part?
FDM parts are functional, with visible layer lines and about ±0.5% (±0.5 mm minimum) — well suited to the work above, but not a substitute for machined precision, and not the right process for safety-critical parts where a failure could cause harm. If you're not sure FDM fits your application, ask us before you order.
